Yuletide: Hon. Oluwaseun Adekunmi (HOA)Foundation, Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF) and Fitila Movement Donate Food Stuff To Communities in Odogbolu Local Government

Hon. Oluwaseun Adekunmi (HOA)Foundation, Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF) and Fitila Movement with support from the APC National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel have put smiles on the faces of Odogbolu Local Government residences in Ogun State.

The foundations team up to distribute food items such as rice, groundnut oil,tomato paste,seasoning cubes among others to people in the area through its "Feed A Mouth, Save a Life Campaign”, a food palliative program for the aged and venerable in Odogbolu Local Government to ensure that people have something to celebrate the season with.

Speaking during the food packs distribution, Hon. Oluwaseun Oguntade said, “as I celebrate my birthday, I have come to believe that when food comes, hopes comes because according to the World Food Programme,815 million are currently hungry due to their lack of resources, an extremely unequal income distribution in the world, so to combat this tragic issue and in commemoration of my birthday celebration I decided to partner with likeminds to put smiles on the faces of my local constituency”.

The promoter of Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF), Mr. Mogaji Olatunde said, “service to humanity, is the best work of life. Although, this is not the first time we are supporting our Odogbolu Local Government people with this kind of gesture, Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF), Hon. Oguntade Adekunmi(HOA) Foundation and Fitila Movenment have being synergizing in bringing social development to the grassroots with various initiatives, like: Kids Tour To Hubert Ogunde Museum; Wealth Creation Scheme With Polaris Bank; The Fitila Health Pack to the venerable in the society, provision of  educational support materials - Branded Exercise books, Pencils and Erasers to pupils to reduce the financial burden on the parents, among other good gestures”. 

“This time around, we want everybody to have something to eat and share with other people. In doing this, we are contributing to the development of our society and nation at large”, Mr Mogaji Olatunde concludes.

Also speaking on behalf of Fitila Movement, Mr. Olajide Dada thanked our donors Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib, The Executive Chairman Of Odogbolu Local Government; Chief Dare Oyegbola, The Sobaloju of Iroko Land among others for their support in various capacity as we all know that the government can’t do all, as we all need to contribute our own part to the development of our community for us to have a better society. The "Feed A Mouth, Save a Life Campaign” which is line in line with sustainable development goal 1 and 2 which emphasized poverty alleviation and zero hunger is one of such gesture to be embraced by all.

Dayo Israel, The National Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), wish Hon. Oluwaseun Oguntade blissful life on her birthday and also commended promoters Hon. Oluwaseun Adekunmi (HOA)Foundation, Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF) and Fitila Movement for their steadfastness in bring social development to the people of Odogbolu local government like feeding people locally which will definitely transform the communities. It is a demonstration of people-centered and empathetic style of leadership every youth should immersed themselves with.

Some of the beneficiaries who expressed excitement  pray for those behind such laudable initiative said the food aid comes at the right time for them.

Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF) is a community social support driven non-profit organization with focus on children, women, youth and vulnerable in the society. The foundation is poised to enhance the general well-being and bringing social development closer of the people of Odogbolu Local Government and environs.

Hon. Oluwaseun Adekunmi(HOA) Foundation  was initiated out of Ms Oluwaseun Oguntade desirability to serve humanity  and her passionate desire to impact lives and promote the welfare of his people through people-oriented programmes by contributing  to the development of her local community.
