For the owner and founder, Yemi John Jegede, it was a dream come true to launch and welcoming diners, and guests to the first African restaurant in Tower Bridge London, called Masq London Bar and Restaurant, which gives yet another reason to visit the city of London for everything from lunches, evening meals and special occasion events, brunches to after-work beer and pre-dinner cocktails.
The historic Tower Bridge building has been brought to new life, the renovated building has been expertly crafted to highlight intimate settings and building features, including a basement floor of creative spaces and distinctly stylish 4 function rooms which are available for hosting private and semi-private parties and events.
The basis of the Masq menu is a broad collection of factors. Starting, most importantly, with our expertly crafted menus by our in-house head chef. The head chef and the kitchen team create a range of signature menus, which are bursting with intense flavour and diverse textures.
To stimulate the appetite, our food is best served with an aperitif cocktail or a glass of wine from the bar. With the explosive Masq Kitchen’s menu ranging from traditional British cuisine to vibrant Italian recipes and flavour-filled French delights, while touching base on Africa and Caribbean. It is guaranteed to satisfy, whatever your dietary requirements and whatever the time of day.
The excited Yemi John Jegede said, “we are set to rejuvenate and spice up the heart of Tower Bridge with African touch as a drinking and dining destination for eat out, networking and relaxation experience that leverages on our culture and export that to the world, with the emphasis on exciting taste and a warm and hospitable welcome, Masq London is best suited to enjoy meals or drinks”.
