The partnership which is in form of e-billing, e-payment and e-receipt will take waste management nearer to the people and eliminate hardship faced in payment for waste services.
Special Adviser to the Governor to the Governor on Government and Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority, OGWAMA, Mr Ola Oresanya in announcing the partnership with AOA Windscreen Limited, an Internet company said the company in conjunction with OGWAMA will provide door-to-door payment service opportunities to residents after proper enumeration.
Oresanya therefore urged households, commercial and industrial outlets who have keyed into the waste-management payment reforms to take advantage into this new innovation for more efficient, stress-free service delivery.
Aside from the new innovation, Mr Oresanya said the new system will bring on board new clients, tagging of all clients for proper monitoring of their waste management process as well as an avenue to make e-enquiries or complaints that will engender better service delivery.
He added that the new patnership will also increase the revenue generation efforts of OGWAMA and reassure residents of the state the commitment of the state government to ensuring a clean and liveable environment.
While responding, the Managing Director of AOA Windscreen Limited, Mr Cole Adeboyejo said the new agreement will make waste management processes faster and easier assuring clients of OGWAMA of credible, veritable and safe digital automation of their payment devoid of estimated billings.
