Plc, indigenous makers of Nobel Carpets and Rugs, with Prime Women Builders
Foundation of Nigeria (PWOBFON) is organizing a vocational training to both men
and women on how to effectively run their businesses in order to help them reach
their full potential.
According to
the General Manager of Lucky Fiber Plc, Mr. Jitesh Pamnani, being a made in
Nigeria brand that believes in the well being of Nigerians, the company is co-hosting
this initiative in order to provide valuable business information and support
so as to alleviate poverty in the society. Pamnani said that “This event is
organised to equip participants with basic, yet necessary skills and relevant
equipment to be self reliant and also provide the necessary support in becoming
a business owner in their various communities.”
This year, the
PWOBFON empowerment objectives will focus on ways out of the country’s current
economic recession with vocational trainings in event management, cake and
pastries making, wire works, bead
making, make up and gele, tailoring,
ICT and so on.
This event
will also afford participants who would want to be marketers and distributors
of the Nobel Carpets and Rugs’ product to do so as there will be a session
where the company will showcase their products and services to enlighten
participants on how they can generate more income with Nobel Carpets soft
covering solutions by selling the made in Nigeria Nobel rugs and carpets.
The General Manager
added that, “Women are major catalyst in today’s business world. They cannot be
neglected. They must be encouraged and supported to do business not only for
family welfare but for sustainable economic growth. It is our intention to
support everyone willing to do business with a minimum of N50, 000 and co-opt
them into our business as sales agent to enhance their income.”
This is an initiative that will
provide valuable information and opportunities to create more source of income
and diversification of trade and work skills. He added.
The event
which is scheduled to take place on the 19th of August 2017 at the
Epe Local Government area of Lagos State will also provide participants
opportunities of free health screening among others.
