Demola Olusunmde, the managing Director of BBDO West Africa, a member of the Casers’ Group, has resigned from from the services of the highly successful marketing communications group of companies.
He joined Casers group in 2006 as pioneer chief operating officer of Capital Media and 2012 was moved to also pioneer BBDO as Managing Director for the company which serves as the West African hub for the BBDO network of agencies.
Prior to his long stay with Casers, Olusunmade was in MediaReach OMD as Director of buying, he also at one time served as Director, Research & Innovation.
He started what became a sterling career in marketing at Cadbury which was then known as one of Nigeria’s school of marketing. He joined the multinational company in 1997 and worked Marketing for about 5 years and he rose to become Brand Manager before his detour to the agency side.
Effort to speak with Olusunmade on his next move before filing this report proved abortive but impeccable sources informed that the Chairman of the group, Mr. Enyi Odigbo has accepted his resignation and also communicated same to staff in the entire Casers group.
However, finding reveals Olusumade resignation will take effect another one or two months as he is still at the helm of afairs in the agency pending when the resignation take effect.
