Gulder, manufactured by brewery giant, Nigerian Breweries Plc., has partnered CFAO Motors Nigeria Ltd., for the 10th edition of popular reality TV programme, Gulder Ultimate Search.
Under the terms of the agreement, CFAO Motors Nigeria Ltd. which is
the show’s official automotive partner, will provide the two brand new
Mitsubishi Pajero jeeps which will be won at the end of Gulder Ultimate
Search 10.
This was revealed recently by Mr Kunle Jaiyesimi, Deputy Managing Director, CFAO Motors Nigeria Ltd, at the Gulder Ultimate Search 10 media parley held recently. According to him, CFAO was delighted to partner Gulder Ultimate Search 10 as the official automotive partner.
He said that in addition to the brand new jeeps : “CFAO Motors will likewise provide to Nigerian Breweries Plc. eight units of Mitsubishi L 200 4WD Pick-ups for the Ultimate Challenge towards the off – road obstacle that will pit man against machine in the ultimate test of grit and steel.”
CFAO’s Deputy Managing Director also added: “Gulder Ultimate Search is a test of endurance which is well reflected in the Mitsubishi range of vehicles we sell.” He further noted that the partnership re-affirms CFAO’s business relationship with Nigerian Breweries Plc. which spans two decades.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Walter Drenth, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc., declared that two winners would emerge from the reality TV programme. This was a clear departure from the past nine editions which had always produced one Ultimate Champion.
While the winning champion will be crowned after overcoming the obstacles and challenges and finding this year’s hidden treasure in the jungle, the second winner will emerge from the Gulder Ultimate Search Virtual Search Edition. Participation in this stage would be through the mobile phone.
While the winner of the Gulder Ultimate Search 10 (jungle) edition will win a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0L GLS AT (full option), while the Gulder Ultimate Search (virtual) edition winner will drive home a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 GLX MT edition.
